We just got back from nearly a 2-week Christmas celebration in North Dakota. We are travel weary, recovering from illness, but also very grateful for the wonderful time we had with family. We pretty much stayed close to Daryl's parents place, but found our days both busy and restful. It was great having so many extra hands to play with the kids.
The pictures show a lot of what we did, but here is a summary of our time...
sledding
snowmobiling
sleigh ride
playing with all Grandma's toys
reading LOTS of books
building snow tunnels and snow caves
dress-up with cousins
board games with Lanie, Macy, Uncle Myron, Aunt Lois, Aunt Lorene
Barbie Dolls with Uncle Myron (he was a very gracious participant)
playing piano
opening Christmas Presents
Eating lots of (maybe too much) good food
helping unload the dishwasher (this was Gracie's favorite, just like Hannah at her age)
sleeping in (thanks to daddy... this was mommy's favorite thing)
Chasing the dogs and cat (again, one of Gracie's favorite activities)
Spending time with family
