Good Friends!

This Thanksgiving holiday was concluded with a very special visit from some dear friends from Princeton, Illinois. Hannah (and I dare say her parents as well) was looking forward to this visit for WEEKS! Saturday afternoon, Jessica arrived with Levi (affectionately known as Leli by Hannah) and the newest little one, Eve. It was practically non-stop energy in the house from that point until we had to say goodbye this morning. There are few things as special as a renewed friendship after being separated for a while... good conversation, good laughs, a few tears, and lots of yelling (mostly by the children).

Don't let these pictures fool you... the kids did not sit still much (with the exception, perhaps, of baby Eve).

Much to the delight of her parents, Gracie ADORED Baby Eve. She
was a little possessive of mommy at first, but soon was fascinated with the baby.
We hope this is a sign of things to come.

Levi and Hannah picked up their friendship right where they
left it. It was so fun to see them playing together.
It was heartbreaking to separate them again!

have seen the girls room after Hannah and Levi spent
the first hour  destroying playing in it! I should have gotten a picture.
