I just woke up 15 minutes ago after a wonderful Thanksgiving spent in Maine. We had just about determined that we would be spending a quiet Thanksgiving just the four of us, when a family from church invited us to join their extended family in Maine for the day. We had such a great time! The girls had a little playmate as well as aunties, uncles and grandparents to entertain them. The food was delicious and plentiful. The conversations were great! I intended to get some pictures of the day, but I believe the camera just hung out in the car.
Today... on the day after Thanksgiving... I'm thankful for people who have the gift of welcoming "outsiders" in so well that you truly become part of the family. Thank you! May we learn this gift from you!
